Whites Among the Cherokees: Georgia 1828–1838, collected and edited by Mary B. Warren and Eve B. Weeks and published in 1987 by Heritage Papers of Athens, Georgia. Drawn from the participants' own records, the book covers the Cherokee country counties of north Georgia — Cass, Cherokee, Cobb, Forsyth, Gilmer, Lumpkin, Murray, and Union — including the 1832 land and gold lotteries, county censuses, and Cherokee genealogies. A standard reference for Georgia Cherokee-era research.
The book is in good condition — the salmon cloth boards are clean and bright with bright gilt lettering and the text is clean; there is a small nick at the top corner of the spine. No dust jacket.
