The Race is an Isaac Bell Adventure — Clive Cussler and Justin Scott's series about the Van Dorn Detective Agency's chief investigator, set here at the dawn of flight among the pioneer aviators of America's first cross-country air race.
This copy appears hand-signed on the title page by Clive Cussler and Justin Scott, and also bears the signature of Roland Dahlquist, the illustrator credited on the copyright page with the endpaper and interior illustrations. The dust jacket carries its AUTOGRAPHED COPY sticker. The book is in acceptable condition. The boards are clean, and the dust jacket — housed in a clear protective sleeve — shows only light edge wear. Please note: one leaf is torn — the chapter 21 opening page is torn vertically, with a section of the page folded up, as shown in the photos, and some text is lost along the tear. The book is priced accordingly.
Great find at a great price! Please note the S&H charges, which include USPS postage, materials, and handling. Pictured bookends are not included in the sale.
