Wonderful very rare vintage limited edition signed copy of The Marshall Guards by Harold B. Simpson. Published in 1967 by The Port Caddo Press of Marshall and bound by The Library Binding Company of Waco, Texas. The leatherbound hardcover book is in very good condition for its age, with minimal wear to the cover and edges. The book is double signed by the author, with a signature on the presentation page as well as an inside cover page. The presentation page notes that this is book number 1 of 50 published. The inscription to the original owner notes the history of the book (see photos).
