Wonderful vintage signed 1st edition copy of The Fireside Cookbook by James Beard. Published in 1949 by Simon and Schuster of New York. The hardcover book is in good condition for its age, with some minor wear to the cover and edges. There appears to be some minor damage to the inside top right corner of the inside cover page, perhaps where a label was removed (see photos). The dust jacket is in good condition for its age, with some wear and small tears along the edges and spine of the cover (see photos). The book is signed by James beard on the inside dedication page and inscribed to the original owner (see photos).
