Wonderful vintage 1st edition copy of The Bright Design by Katherine B. Shippen. Published in 1949 by The Viking Press of New York. The hardcover book is in acceptable condition for its age, with wear to the cover and edges. There is some staining and what appears to be white-out/paint on the front cover and edges (see photos). The dust jacket is in poor condition for its age, with considerable wear, staining, and some tears to the cover, edges, and spine. Some of the tears have been repaired with tape (see photos).
