A collection of designs that capture the intricacy of ancient Celtic art: 25 step-by-step projects employing many different traditional quilting techniques, all with clear instructions and templates. The projects are organized by technique — wholecloth (greetings cards, a silk cushion, a spiral-design dolls' quilt, a knotwork pram quilt, a birds sofa throw), appliqué (a wedding ring cushion, an evening bag, a dragon picture, a shadow-work cot quilt, a stained glass wall hanging), trapunto (a pincushion, initial pictures, a herb pillow, a bridal handbag, a knotwork trinket box), patchwork (cushions, table-mats, a key-pattern footstool, a work-bag, a child's bed quilt), and sashiko (cards, a needlecase, a teacosy, a tablecloth, a bed quilt) — plus a pattern library of knots, knotwork borders, spiral designs, fret and key patterns, alphabets, carpet page designs, animals, birds, fish, and plant designs.
The book is in very good condition. The covers are bright and clean with only minor edge wear, the spine is straight and clean, and the photographed title, contents, and copyright pages are clean, flat, and unmarked.
