Bits of Texas History in the Melting Pot of America, Part II: Native Latin American Contribution to the Colonization and Independence of Texas, edited and annotated by J. T. Canales of Brownsville, Texas, published in 1957 and printed by Artes Graficas of San Antonio, Texas. Contents include a Mexican sergeant's recollection of the Alamo and San Jacinto drawn from Col. J. S. (Rip) Ford's unpublished memoirs, the Latin American heroes of the Texas Revolution, and a biography of Capt. Juan N. Seguin. This copy bears a presentation inscription on the front endpaper, dated Brownsville, December 31, 1956; please note the signature is an ink stamp, not a hand signature.
