Beautiful facsimile edition, A Flight of Butterflies, published in 1979 by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Thames and Hudson. This volume reproduces Kanzaka Sekka's One Thousand Kinds of Butterflies, first printed in Kyoto, Japan in 1904, and was itself printed and bound in Japan on specially-made paper. The purple cloth bound book is in very good condition, with one light scratch to the front board and clean, vivid plates throughout.
